Questions
How much smaller will my file get?
It depends on what is inside. PDFs full of photos or scans often shrink by 50–90%. Text-only PDFs are usually small already and may change little.
Will text get blurry?
No. Text and vector graphics are kept exactly. Only photos are re-compressed.
What if the result is not smaller?
We tell you, and you can keep your original. We never hand you a bigger file without saying so.
Can I compress a password-protected PDF?
Yes. Enter its password when asked. The compressed file is saved without a password.
